WHO WE ARE
Renée Brinkerhoff and her team are attempting to make history by racing an iconic 1956 Porsche 356A on all seven continents—YES, even Antarctica!
Founded by Renée Brinkerhoff in 2013 - Renée Brinkerhoff is an American racing driver and the founder of Valkyrie Racing. Renée made her racing debut, in her freshly prepared car and new racing team in the 2013 La Carrera Panamericana. Renée finished the race first in class, becoming the only woman to achieve a class win on her La Carrera Panamericana debut. Now Renée and her team have embarked upon its greatest challenge yet: Project 356 World Rally Tour.
Renée aims to race her 356 Porsche on all seven continents, also using the media attention around her efforts to raise awareness of the major global issue of child trafficking. Project 356 World Rally Tour began in 2017, on the 30th anniversary running of La Carrera Panamericana. The challenge has so far conquered five continents: North & South America, Australia, Asia and Europe. Up next – Africa!

OUR MISSION: To help women and children at risk around the globe.
CHILD TRACKING IS A TRAGEDY THAT NEEDS GREATER WORLDWIDE ATTENTION
Child trafficking is a tragedy that needs greater worldwide attention and action. An estimated 5.5 million children are recruited, transported, transferred, harbored, abused and exploited, sometimes under our own noses. They may be forced to work in sweatshops, on construction sites or in houses as domestic servants; on the streets as child beggars, in wars as child soldiers, on farms, in traveling sales crews or in restaurants and hotels. Some are forced to work in brothels and strip clubs or for escort and massage services. Despite efforts to combat trafficking across the globe, this heinous crime continues to be wildly lucrative and is growing at an alarming rate.
PRESS & MEDIA
Renee Brinkerhoff, philanthropist, driver, and team owner for Valkyrie Racing, is one of only four women and 110 total rallyists embarking on the 36-day 2019 Peking to Paris Motor Challenge. The event covers a distance of nearly 10,000 miles and has been going on since June 2nd. It is scheduled to end on Sunday July 7th.
A multiple class victor in Mexico's La Carrera Panamericana race, Brinkerhoff's long term goal is to compete with her beloved bathtub Porsche on all seven continents. Her more immediate goal, however, other than making it to Paris from Beijing, is to shine light on the problem of human trafficking, particularly the exploitation of children.
With just a few days left to go, Renee and her 1956 Porsche 356A have endured a long trail together spanning numerous countries like Mongolia, China, Russia, and Kazakhstan. The journey forced Renee to take her Porsche to its limits on desert paths, ice-covered passes, treacherous river crossings, and a tough Russian road that
The 356 has rapidly become one of Porsche's most desirable classics. As prices rise, more and more 356s are getting tucked into garages, only to be driven to Cars & Coffee events on days with perfect weather. This 356 does not live that sort of life.
